Transmissibility Issue in Numerical Aquifer

Layer 25 is Numerical Aquifer

BUT

Why Layer 25 has 0 Tranx and 0 Trany value ?
Layer 25 also have Zero TranZ value, But Why Layer 24 has zero TranZ value?

I have placed and water Injection well in Aquifer (layer 25) but it has no effect on the reservoir. Why? I think this is due to Zero X Y Transmissibility values, I have Entered BOX in Edit section to explicitly assign X, Y, Z Trans values BUT in vain..

You can assign a numerical aquifer and its direction (bottom up and edge aquifer) without assigning the layer number

In Petrel just define aquifer (it will be a virtual aquifer i.e. not a high water saturation layer like you did). also you have to define the original oil water contact

In the same i have defined it. Problem is with the transmissibilities, Display
TransX, TransY and TransZ in 3D, you will note ZERO trans values in the Aquifer

Look in the ECLIPSE ECL directory at some of the sample DATA problems and find one where an aquifer has been defined. There must be one. Load it and observe how it was done. Simple way and you have full control.

I think I have the answer to it... though I have not tried it but it can be done i think
