- I will start here (in this thread) the MBAL software tutorial step by step.
- Any question related to this topic is welcome.
- The more contribution is required.
- This is a real case study.
- MBAL is the world leader in Material Balance Calculations and used in a wide range of oil and gas industry.
- This software (MBAL) is basically for reserve estimation but can be used for identification of water encroachment and other application that we can discuss further.
- If you have your own data we can make a study with each others
- Also you will find the MBAL tutorial guide manual.

After Installation of MBAL you should see the following window :

From Tools menu choose /Material Balance and you will see a window like this:

From PVT menu choose: Fluid Properties

Put the input data as in the following image and click Calculate:

You will get a new window.
Put the Temperature range from 130 to 180 with steps of 10
And Pressure range from 0 to 5000 with steps of 100
As the picture below and click Calc.

This will generate the PVT tables as shown:

Now; Double click on Tank 1 in the blank area of the software, A new window will opened which is: Tank Input Data - Tank Parameters
