Re: Ecrin Saphir for Well Test Analysis step by step tutoria
Now four windows inside Saphir for different analysis tools as a default Maximize the Log-Log plot window .
Notice: in normal analysis, the pressure data and derivative curves should identically the same in the early period which is not confirmed in this case (red circle).

Re: Ecrin Saphir for Well Test Analysis step by step tutoria
this problem indicating that the last Pwf is not correctly assigned. i.e. in many cases the Shut in from well head doesn't prevent well to flow at sand face.
Even if your well head is closed, still some flow downhole.
In order to rectify this issue just change the Pwf manually,
Double click on the Log-Log plot window / Set / P@dt=0
Try to modify the value for Pwf to reach the correct one.
Finally it is 1112 Psi
Click Ok
You will see the issue resolved on the chart

Click the Model Icon in the left pane under Interpretation tab,
Try to change the model and its parameters and see the results.
By trial and error you will get a good match.
We will work together to get the best match but try from your side...

Hello FANARCO,
The best match I had by quick analysis:
Channel or parallel faults model (1/2 slope)
low wellbore storage C ~1x10^-10
skin ~ -5
k = 0.5 mD.
No matter which distance I choose for the faults, the model remain the same.
Could you please elaborate more on this topic and continue your tutorial?
Thanks a lot.

The aim of this thread is to provide you with the detailed steps on how to use Ecrin software and how to handle the data.
Actually, there are a lot of models can be matched here, if you have any other data we can exercise it.
what do u think

Re: Ecrin Saphir for Well Test Analysis step by step tutoria
first of all
i entered PVT data like what you did but i got different results i don't know why and i tried many time but i didn't get same your results please see Pic below
Second of all
I did these three interpretation with different results the first one with different well model and same boundary model
second and third same well model and boundary model but with different value in K & S
my small experience told me the second one is the most best one
but i need your feedback about all these interpretation
Thanks

For PVT, if you entered the same input parameters with the same correlations you should get the same results.
For interpretation you have to adjust the point Pwf @ time 0
Try and error

Good points thank you but i tried many time with PVT like your steps and Sw but i didin't get So=0.49 due to high GOR I already input it! can you help me about this point?.
but you didn't give me your opinion about the Reservoir and boundary models and which one is more accepted

Re: Ecrin Saphir for Well Test Analysis step by step tutoria
I didn't get your point, what is the relation between PVT and Sw, So....
