Re: Help in calculating pump dynacard from surface data.
Hi Nilesh! I finally found the solution to with the Everitt-Jennings method. Here are some pointers that might help you:
1- remember to invert surface position (after all, PU kinematic and wave propagation use opposite reference system). Just multiply by -1.
2- I made a lot of timesteps/nodes: 720 ...

Surface Pumps in GAP
Hi everyone! I'm trying to model a pipe network in GAP that includes a duplex type piston pump; but i can't seem to input de perfofrmance correctly. Help file on this is useless... Anyone has any experience to share with a similar problem?

Elevation profile
Hi! I'm trying to build a GAP model, and I'm having a problem with the pipelines elevation profile. I have the lines in a .KML file from google earth (web); and I used to work with a web applet at geocontext profiler (http://www.geocontext.org/publ/2010/04/profiler/en/?import=kml) but it's no longer ...

HySys
Hi! I'm looking for a software to model surface facilities. I remember using hysys from Aspen Tech in my collegue days, but i welcome any suggestions. Of ocurse, if someone has a version to share, that would be great!
thanks!
thanks!

Re: Help in calculating pump dynacard from surface data.
Hi Nilesh! I am also working on a similar spreadsheet but still couldn't work it out. By looking at yours, i found a mistake on formula column T, as it uses the incorrect nodes for the calculation. Still, with the correction in place, it didn't solve the issue.
I don't know about your dataset, but ...

Flumping Sucker-rod well
Hi! I have a well currently flumping (flowing through tubing and annulus, while also being pumped by the sucker-rod pump). I read some publications on this behavior, but i would appreciate any experience you could share on this issue.
thanks!
thanks!

Re: Jet Pump
Hi aelkhalifa
Jet pump are rarely efficient, at least from an energetic point of view. They do work well on high GLR wells, but still, free gas will lower the pump efficiency in lifting fluids. For design, you should really look for a software that can simulate the well, since maunal calculations ...
