Chemical EOR
Chemical EOR methods are injection of a specific liquid chemical to improve oil displacement.
Chemical flooding:
-Surfactant Flooding
-Polymer Flooding
- Alkaline Flooding
- ASP Flooding (Surfactant & Polymer &Alkaline )
-Low Salinity flooding
Mechanisms:
IFT Reduction
Mobility Control
Wettability Alteration
Increase water viscosity
Further information and updates will be provided.....

Great post dolatitv
For CO2 belong to which one from the above..

Re: Chemical EOR
Fanarco,
In my opinion CO2 doesnt belong to any of above.CO2 can be miscible or immiscible or in WAG
Chemical methods described above react with matrix hence called Chemical flooding while CO2 doesnt react with matrix!

Re: Chemical EOR
Yes, CO2 considered as miscible floodingsoman703 wrote:Fanarco,
