I take the following information from the web page of CEPETRO, a brazilian institute for Petroleum Investigation and Education, and traduced it:

The Single Well Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage is an EOR method developed trought an injector well with horizontal completion. Its application has been studied in some brazilian fields and has been compared with other EOR techniques. Several strategies has been applied like previous cyclic injection and the Obturators installing in the tubing.
Production was compared with Dual well SAGD for the same conditions and different parameters was evaluated, like well positioning, compression and lamination of the rock, production and injection zones, etc, resulting in better recovery factors for SW-SAGD compared with DW-SAGD...
