Fluid characterization
hi,
currently, I working in a gas condensate field, we have a problem with the condensate measurements. The only source of data is PVT reports, but we don't have the enough skill to deal with it.
My requirements:
1- How to use the PVT report in MBAL
2- How to characterise the fluid within any PVT package (PVTSIM, PVTP)
3- How to calculate the liquid recovery at each separation stage within the processing plant.

Yes Ahmed
Firstly thank you for joining FANARCO
In fact the yield of condensate from gas is a critical issue
The quantities of condensate yield depends on many factors; Gas coposision, separator pressure and temprature ..... etc
the key factor for calculation is to start with Pressure temprature envelop diagram
In order to create these set of curves you need a detailed gas composision including imburities
So, you should have PVT set as a gas condensate sample i.e. you should have a representative sample from full stream of the well
any way can you post your data and talk about it ???
