Dear friends,
If you check "WCONPROD" keyword of Eclipse, if go to BHP as control mode (item 9) it is written:
" It is recommended that this quantity (BHP) should be set to a value not less than the lowest pressure in the PVT tables, to ensure the tables are not extrapolated in the well. It is best not to default this quantity, as its value is used in calculating the well potential. "
My question is:
Can anyone tell me how I can check and see what is the lowest pressure in my simulation PVT tables? Where are these PVT tables? I cannot find them anywhere!
Thank you so much

Dear Bilal
Thanks for your response. But, my model is in E300 and as you know in E300 we use EOS and If an equation of state is being used, PVTO and PVTG tables are not required, as the fluid Zfactors and thus densities can be obtained directly.
I think there is no such tables in ECLIPSE, and they use the laboratory data to match an EOS and calculate EOS parameters and when they got EOS tuned with those laboratory data, they use EOS in ECLIPSE.
Therefore, the only way to confirm what is your lowest pressure in PVT tables is to go and check with the laboratory data in documents.
What do you think about this scenario?
