Studying Pertroleum Engineering

Post by Mughenyi »

Dear friends, I'm looking forward to do MSc in Petroleum Engineering. Can anybody advise me which Unviersity offer the course by distance learning. The college/university reputation to the industry is important factor to consider. I know some of them but I would like to have your views so that I can make an appropiate decision.

Kind regards.

Hi Mughenyi,

Don't know if this is of interest to you, but I found out recently about a blended learning program, something like a distance learning program at Uni. of West Australia (UWA) offered by its school of O&G Eng. You can check it out here:

Wish you all the best.

Hi Flare,

Thank you for being interested with my course. I'm sincerely grateful for all who recommended some institutions for me.
I have just received an offer to study in Hariot Watt in UK. I will be doing MSc in PE by distance learnig. I'm organising payment for modules so that I can start.
Anybody did this course with the same university before? Please share experience with me.
Note: TzPride is Mughenyi...I'm sorry for any inconviences that might have been caused by change of name..i just forgot the previous password

That's great.

I'm thinking of getting an advanced degree too so our experience would be worth sharing with others don't you think?

All the best with your studies.
