first trip offshore

I m going offshore soon and i need some information

about what we are allowed to bring with us ,

also what I should know ect ...

I think normally you will need to bring PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), Hard hat, coverall, safety boot, saftey googles, gloves, etc. if your company is service company to work offshore. If your company is drilling contractor, you will not need them. More importantly you will need tooth brushe/paste, some moisturizers (you will need if it is air conditioned room) some Tshirts and briefs if it is in tropical country, warm clothes if it is in the North sea. Laptop if you need to watch DVDs or play games. Be aware that some Production platforms have a weight limitation for rotational crews but no limits if it is drilling operations
