Request for Sponsorship

Hi,
My name is Irfan and my paper has been selected in IPTC 2008 and I would really like to go to malaysia to attend the conference but due to financial problems I am unable to go. The total expenses including the visa and ticket charges are about $950.
I would like to request all the kind and generous people who can help me in part or full to donate some amount so that I can make it to the conference.

yes i dont expect someone to pay all the money you can start by providing $50 donation too

Well its a willful donation not by force soif u have better plans for $50 please use them

I am just wondering why don't you check with local SPE chapters or oil companies for sponsorship? ONGC, Reliance to name a few.

Yes we did but the local chapter is not sponsoring more than $200 as they have a limit as how many people they sponsor in a year and the companies are not very sure about the sponsorship to non-employees
