hi i`m here again...
decline rate depends of the reservoir properties... in heavy oil reservoirs in the orinoco belt decline rate is about 25% annualy...
I`ve been thinking about your case and the situation is very different that onshore situations... becouse of that i think that better method for production is intermitent diluent injection trought tubing... you must have consideration in diluent election of chemical composition of crude and PVT properties of reservoir...
This topic really likes me so much...

I think 25 % is very high in depletion drive reservoir, your field should be water drive

We have 13-17 API and 13-60 cp viscousity with depletion drive. i.e. no water drive

Friends I`ve been reading about THAI-CAPRI Tech and i`ve found it very very interesting... It`s the FUTURE!!! :D
You can read something in Petrobank`s web:

THAI Technology

Thanks Ah_sheref...

Thanks ah_sheref...

If it's not too much trouble, could you please upload the whole book...I believe there are more chapters for the EOR book.

Seriously, been looking for this book for quite some time.

I owe you! :D

HELLO
I need to know about some methods of recovery such as:
-AIHP (Air injection high pressure)
-SWSAGD (Single well steam assisted gravity drainage)
-THAI (tool high air injection)

If you don't have information in papers please send me only the article that you know.

thanks
