equations in reservoir simulation

How are oil production rate calculated from reservoir simulation results? What are the equations used for that?

The rate calculated from the darcy equation with known pressure values

Thank you for your response. I am using flow simulator of open porous media which is a open source tool and uses fully implicit simulator. How can I know the equations which are used to calculate the oil production rate?
