Mbal: Fnctionaility
Hi there,
I am working on a project that involves looking at neighbouring fields that share a common aquifer. I am using Mbal to find how each field is connected via the regional aquifer but i am struggling to for any type of workflow in order to get the project completed.
I have production history of the fields and also static pressures.
I am currently history matching each field independently against the static pressures however i will need to connect them at some point down the line.
Could anyone give me some general advice on getting started?
Many thanks,
JP

Theoretically, both reservoirs should have the same initial conditions especially pressure.
You should play with the matching parameters to get the aquifer properties near to each other.
If you make the aquifer properties kept constants you can play with the other parameters individually like OIP PVT...etc
For OWC is it the same for both or not ...
