Velocity calculation in Eclipse

Post by vikrantvishal »

Hello every one... Is any method to calculate velocity across the each face of grid in Eclipse simulator in water flooding case?

Thanks,

It is very simple

Just include the keyword "VELOCITY" in RPTRST section; This Output of all fluid velocities.

OR

If you want any value for one of specified velocity just include:

VELOIL Output of oil velocities.
VELWAT Output of water velocities.
VELGAS Output of gas velocities.

If you want to visualize the results open the output GRID file through FloViz
Click on Grid property op right side and choose the parameter (Velocity) to display

This will provide you with three numbers for each gridblock (IJK).

Very interesting exercise in Eclipse reservoir simulation.

I applied before, but It does not print in ASCII format in desired file.
Did you check with my files?
I don't have license of FloViz...do you have Eclipse software (Cracked version)?
And also I want to print it in ASCII format.

Thanks for help...

By using flowviz you can display any property
And in your case i ran with this keyword and working fine as below screenshot

Its units in meter/day

Also you can display in PETREL with the same way.

I understand what do you mean. But I don't have licence of FloViz.And also want the data in ASCII format, because I have to do post-processing.
Do you have crack version of Eclipse?
