Difference between cell pressure and BHP??

Post by Kabadayi »

Hi guys
I just had a problem in defining the difference between BHP and a cell pressure connected to the wellbore. There is a data file about gas injection which producer well has been completed in third layer (reservoir has 3 layers). why must cell pressure connected to wellbore differ from BHP?????

I also upload the data file and the pressure profile of cell pressure and BHP.
thanks

Hi Kabadayi,

BHP is estimated at an imaginary point in the wellbore, it could be the any depth. By default, it is top of the top most cell the well penetrating. While cell pressures are at the center of the cells.

I haven't downloaded your zip file. Would you please give an example what is your BHP and Cell pressure?
