between c5 or(c7,c3,.....) and c5+ or(c7+,c3+,.....)?
i mean between component only and component with(+)

C5 referring to Heptan only, While when we say C5+ it is referring to Heptan and the higher components like hexan ...etc.

This is usually in light crude oil analysis when C5+ is relatively low compared with C1, C2, C3 & C4

these days components higher than C40 can be identified in a crude oil sample.
