As per all members request, here is the tutorial for Saphire (Well Test Analysis)

First lesson : (Loading the data)

We will start learning by using actual data from oil well producing Oil and Gas in AMAL field in EGYPT

Please download the raw data in the link below :

Open Ecrin (Saphire desktop) and the following window will appear

Click on File \ New ................. the following window will opened

Another window for PVT data will appear

Put the following values as per Pic. then click create to create the file

Now the file is ready to download

Press on QA/QC data and choose Load

Choose ascii file and select the file from its location

After selecting the file and press open the following window must appear

From the line format choose field ....
You will get four fields A B C and D as per this Pic.

Choose the first field as undefined
B as Decimal time
C as pressure
D as undefined ..... then press Load

On this screen choose : Ignore new data
Press Apply to all

Now the data were loaded successfully


Check the loaded data by pressing Edit Data like this pic

Dear FANARCO,
I appreciate all your efforts to learn us Saphir software. I have a suggestion in this issue. I think it is better to prepare a .DOC file to learn this software instead of writing your notes in this manner. After some weeks , we have wonderful document in this topic.
To those one who may need this software, I should say that you can download the last version of this software in their website.
