Instant demand shock: Coronavirus turns oil demand negative
The biggest negative oil demand shock since the Great Recession of 2009 is unfolding in China as the spread of the coronavirus has shut down significant transportation and business activity. We estimate that oil demand in China is currently 1.4 MMb/d less than a year ago, which means total world oil...

Re: Help solving a problem - from Drilling Engineering Book
After setting 13-3/8 inch casing, at 8,500 feet, the casing shoe was drilled out and a casing shoe test was run. Leak-off pressure was determined to be 1,100 psi. The test was conducted with a mud density of 12.8 ppg in the hole. Calculate the following: Pressure @ Shoe = _______ psi Gradient @ Shoe...

You can ask them for another trial perioddehdouh2010 wrote:Dear all
Thanks for sharing this software seem to be interested in my opinion.
But the evaluation period isn't quit sufficient to try all the features.
Do you have a c--k or cure for a permanent use ?
Best regards

Hello, mechiebud wrote:What is the difference between phase and component in reservoir simulation?
The phase mean physical state of the fluid either liquid or gas
While component is an element inside the gas composition. i.e. C1, C2 and C3....etc are the components of the gas phase

Re: what is meant by ESP de-rating?
I think de-rating ESP is to use less pump size after producing with actual production and found the feed from the reservoir is less than expected in terms of oil rate as well as fluid level
in this case re-design for the ESP should be done and use lower pump rating
