Re: Deliverability by hand question
On Cartesian the slope depends on the position and is not a fixed parameter.
Can anyone confirm this please?

Deliverability by hand question
Hello everyone, I have one very basic question. I have been plotting deliverability plots by hand. I use cartesian plots by taking logs but I am unable to get exact answers. Does 1/n slope change to n in cartesian plots? Is equation also linear in cartesian like in log log scale? Can I only calculat...

Hydrostatic equilibrium between two connected oil reservoirs
Hello everyone. During simulation how do we obtain hydrostatic equilibrium between two undersaturated oil reservoir connected by an acquifier and having different oil water contacts?
Can it be done by giving same datum depth but different initial pressures?

Production performance water influx
Hello anyone,
can anyone please explain how does water influx effects production perforamnce of an oil well?
because in productivity index formula PI=Qost/Delta p there is no mention of water influx.
Thankyou.

Kv , wwct wbtt
Hello everyone,
Can anyone please explain whats the effect of increasing or decreasing Kv on WBTT and WWCT.
In my opinion increasing Kv will increasing WWCT and decrease WBTT. But my friend says otherwise.
Can anyone please confirm?
Thankyou.

Re: Well Test analysis interpretation
I think its real test data. what do you make of middle time and late time regime in log log derivative plot i.e., last one? Also how did you conclude it to be gas well? Is it because of sharp WBS & Skin effect visible in horner? Can I also observe it in this derivative? I might have to interpret...

Well Test analysis interpretation
Hello everyone. I have this well test derivavtive available and its matched I found it to be Wellbore storage and skin and later on radial flow and later on I am not sure what it is. Can anyone help me with detailed Interpretation of this test and how do I deal with such scattered data? Thankyou,

Re: Flowing Bottom Hole pressure and well water cut
Gameel bro, One question please. You mentiond , " in case of oil wet reservoirs the water may breakthrough faster by increasing the DD". Can you please tell me reason behind it? Also how is the case when we increase Drawdown in Sandstone reservoirs? doesnt it effect the same as Carbonates?...

Reservoir Production Strategies
Hello everyone, I have a question please, Anyone here would like to comment on different reservoir production strategies under different scenarios? For instance, 1- Undersaturated oil reservoir with no acquifier 2- Undersaturated oil reservoir with strong acquifier 3- Undersaturated oil reservoir wi...
