Re: Top Map

'Can I conclude from your comment here that when contours are not at same at same level we have hydraulically seperated blocks by sealing faults? Also isnt it weird that two hydraulically seperated blocks with different contours have same OWC contact.Isnt it strange thing to see? .Have you ever seen...

Re: Flowing Bottom Hole pressure and well water cut

Thankyou so much for detailed reply.

I have one more query please. So if one has to do vertical lift at well level.

And one has got water cut reaching the well.

Will it help or hinder our vertical lift process?

Top Map

Hello everyone, I am reading a top map of a reservoir ( I have put it in attachments) . I have a question please. I can see on Top map that contour lines don't change towards right side of the fault. While on left side ( towards well 3 and well 4) contours change. Can I conclude from this that upper...

Well Test Derivative breakdown query!

Hello everyone, I have a question please.I have worked on Interpret ( well testing software). All parameters that we play in the software and model matching such as Non Darcy flow coefficient etc. ( quite long list). I wanted to ask please, have any of you happened to go across any book's specific c...

ERD Well help

Hello everyone, I am working on my final thesis. My thesis topic is related to Well Control processes in ERD wells. I am totally of on my own because my thesis professor is a busy person. 1- I wanted to ask which suit can I use to change different parameters and get results on well control? I looked...

Flowing Bottom Hole pressure and well water cut

Hello everyone, I have a very basic question but I would like to ask to clear it through. How does increase in well water cut decreases flowing bottom hole pressure? I know flowing Bottom hole pressure and static bottom hole pressure are inversely proportional to each other. I would love it if anyon...

Fluid Contacts : Log or Pressure Gradients

Fluid Contacts : Log or Pressure Gradients Hello everyone, I have a question please. What is the reliable method among log or pressure gradients for determining fluid contacts? In Heterogeneous reservoir why do we trust contact obtained from pressure gradient compared to logs? How does this selectin...
