Re: Coal Bed Methane-
CBM stands for coal bed methane where gas (typically CH4 and CO2) is sorbed under pressure into the large internal surface area of coal. The methane can have up to 6 to 7 times the volume of methane found in conventional gas reservoir. Basics of CBM production can be given as follows 1. Relatively l...

Capillary Pressure Relationship with Waterflooding
How does Capillary pressure help or hinder in Water flooding process? what happens if a rock is water wet? What about one that is oil wet? What would happen when we try to displace oil out with water in each case? Will we get better support when we are in water wet system? i.e,sandstone reservoirs F...

Injection Patterns query
Hello Everyone, I have few questions regarding Injections wells please: 1- When do we use which type of Injection pattern? Two or three spots patterns are usually used in Pilot phase but what about other well patterns such as four spot, inverted four spot , five spot, Inverted five spot , Seven spot...

Re: Chemical EOR
Fanarco,
In my opinion CO2 doesnt belong to any of above.CO2 can be miscible or immiscible or in WAG
Chemical methods described above react with matrix hence called Chemical flooding while CO2 doesnt react with matrix!
