Re: Eclipse
Hey I think I have managed to get a graph for the PV injected. The question now is how to compare my forces such as the capillary gravity and viscous? I don't know what I may be missing in order to see that Thanks anonake,,, is it possible to share a screen shot for your PV injected graph to be inl...

Re: Heterogeneity index (HI)
Actually, It is not a direct formula for Lorenz Coefficient.
It is some process by plotting permeability ....
If you want I can share with you the SPE paper which describe in more details..

A new tool for prospect evaluation in shale gas reservoirs
In recent years, unconventional gas (particularly shale gas e SG) has played an increasing role in satisfying gas demand both in North America and beyond. Despite extensive development, minimal work has been done to develop tools and methodologies for SG prospect analysis. Due to the complexity and...

Download Petrel Reservoir Engineering RE Tutorials
. Introduction to RE through Petrel: This is a quick exercise going through the creation of a very simplified ECLIPSE model in Petrel RE, consisting of a cubic grid with a producer well in the center. A constant pressure boundary condition is set on the borders by the implementation of an aquifer, a...

Hi KhuwajaShoaib,
You can use PM instead if you feel a member has what you need.
Bilal,
There is a lack of software discussion especially drilling and production engineering.

Re: Rule of thumbs in Reservoir Engineering
Very good idea. In deep-water plays and in order to calculate the reservoir temperature (if you don't have actual data): Consider the seabed temperature is 4 dec C (rule of thumb) for any ocean or sea unless you have real data. start counting from seabed downward to the reservoir .i.e. subtract the...
