Normally what I would do is compare SBHP to WBP9, which is the average pressure taken over the 8 blocks surrounding the well and the cell in which the well is in. I'm not sure if you can compare kh from well test directly with kh from simulator. kh is estimated from well test based on the assumption...

During primary recovery, you can do optimization and enhancement to get the maximum oil recovery. Afterwards when ...

I agree with all of you. This forum can be more than just a place to exchange ebooks and softwares (let's hope the companies are not cracking up on this :) ). As a new engineer, I would very much like to get advice from the seniors on career development and stuff and learn from their experiences. Bt...

Hi praveen, I know a bit about Schlumberger interview process since I did my my internship with the company. Are you applying for a field or office position? Usually for field engineer position, they would ask you what your preference would be, i.e. which segment e.g. drilling and measurement or wir...

Well, short version of the problem is...I'm looking at the performance of a group of 3 sands which are undergoing waterflooding. In MBAL, the simulated pressure declines all the way since start of production even though there is water injection while the actual recorded pressure showed response to w...
